Apple has recently revealed the launch of brand new MacBook Air laptops equipped with the latest M3 processors, aimed at enticing consumers seeking more powerful, AI-driven personal computers.
The new MacBook Air series includes models with 13-inch and 15-inch screens, boasting up to 60% faster performance compared to their predecessors featuring the M1 processor. These new models are now available for order, with deliveries scheduled to commence later this week. Apple, having transitioned to using its own chip technology since 2020, offers the smaller model starting at $1,099 in the United States, with the larger base model priced at $1,299.
With the rise of AI-enabled PCs in the market, industry experts anticipate a rebound in the PC sector by 2024 following a prolonged dip post-pandemic. Apple experienced a slight uptick in Mac sales, reaching $7.78 billion in the last quarter, after a 33% decline in the prior quarter.
This strategic move by Apple signals a push towards innovative technologies and enhanced computing capabilities, aligning with the evolving demands of tech-savvy consumers. The integration of AI features in the new MacBook Air models is poised to revolutionize the user experience, driving further interest and demand in the PC market.
